Living the good life
Our campers reside in comfortable, modern cabins with full electricity,
showers and toilet facilities. Campers have ample room to store all
their belongings in shelves located within the cabin and free from the
clutter of trunks or luggage. We ask our parents to send campers' luggage
to camp ahead of time so that we may unpack and store the bags. This
way campers are ready to get involved as soon as they arrive to camp.
In each group, we have approximately 8 campers and a minimum of 2 senior
counselors. Cabin counselors eat, sleep and interact with their campers.
This fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and creates friendly, inter-group
rivalries. Older campers (having completed the 8th grade) have the option
of sleeping in our 14 X 16 tent platforms equipped with electricity
and central shower houses.

Ahhh, the
food.
Our spacious dining hall serves well balanced, buffet style meals prepared
by our professional kitchen staff. In addition to each day's hot breakfast,
a breakfast bar filled with cereals, yogurt and fruit is available every
morning. On Saturday mornings a special breakfast of cinnamon buns and fresh
doughnuts awaits our campers. At each lunch and dinner, there is a salad
bar and dessert is available. At each meal we always offer a variety of
low fat and vegetarian choices. On Wednesday nights we feature our all camp
cookout. Our kitchen is health department approved and run by our well-trained
staff. They work hard to provide foods to campers that they like to eat.
Great chicken, spaghetti, roast beef, turkey and much more keeps everyone's
stomachs full and happy. The kitchen is inspected and approved by the West
Virginia Health Department and is run in accordance with our American Camp
Association Accreditation.
